Dean G. Moore is a stick thin London based Director/Editor and writer. He has a beard, glasses and rides a bike.
Growing up in a small town in the East Midlands where he spent most his days absorbing himself in music, TV and Film. These passions lead him to peruse a career in film. A graduate of University College Falmouth (BA), University Karlstad Sweden (BA) and UAL London College Of Communication (MA). Dean has represented both UCF and LCC at the 2009 & 2010 New/Now Festival for emerging artists. In 2009 his first film Ctrl Alt Shift won the Technical Excellence Award at Cornwall Film Festival.
His approach to filmmaking was transformed forever once he saw Godfrey Reggio film Kopyaanisqatsi.
Since joining he has worked all over the world with several top agencies on a range of digital and commercial projects including the D&AD awarding project Living Garden and the DMA Award Campaign for Carte Noire. He has also been commissioned to create projects for Channel 4, Universal Records, PIAS as well as a host of other digital and music companies.
His work is heavily inspired by the modernist art movement including graphic design, design, photography and film. These mediums combined with a love of fictional and factual story telling helps him create a range of films rich in narrative and strong in their visual aesthetic.
He is currently seeking funding for his first fictional short film.
