Pj Bickford
Pj is a multi award winning producer who has helped to establish the growing brand of Pretzel during the company's hugely successful first 3 years.
He was creative director at Blue Juice Marketing, London, working on accounts like Yardley, L'Oreal, Coca Cola, NEC, Nissan and Mitsubishi. Formerly, Pj's background is feature films which including working for the academy award winning director James Cameron.
PJ was event manager and creative director for the Armed Forces Memorial opening ceremony attended by the Queen and senior members of the Royal family screened live and attended by over 100 press agencies from around the world.. He also executively produced the films for the event.

Pete Shuttleworth
Pete has helped forge Pretzel's growing reputation. His drive for communication excellence can be seen in the creative profile of the company today and as it moves forward into new areas in 2008.
Pete has been producing at a senior level for over 10 years. Before setting up Pretzel, he was as a full time producer at Ridley Scott Associates for 5 of those years, where he produced commercials through RSA and music videos through Black Dog Films. Credits there include work for Massive Attack and the Prodigy, and international brands such as Mars, McDonalds, Unilever, Shell, British Telecom and many others.
Pete began his career after leaving Goldsmiths with a first class degree in Fine Art. Now at Pretzel, he has taken this creative grounding and his knowledge of brands to a broad range of clients, advising them in brand communication and development. As creative director his work has won accolades from around the world including New York and London, most noticeably with the multi award winning film 'The Road Ahead' for the NGO Tearfund. Tearfund have now won awards for their video work for three years running while working with Pretzel.
Digital Director
Matt Fretwell
Matt is the Digital Director at Pretzel. His acting role is head of post-production. However, being a rather creative geek he has also earnt multiple awards as a director and editor.
Matt drives the technology use within Pretzel, keeping the directors, producers and teams at the cutting edge of development, using the latest camera technology, post production facilities and final deliverable solutions.
Combining these skills he has directed films for clients such as Ford Europe, Honda, Macmillan Cancer Support, Sungard, Yellow pages for Mother London, and the Discovery Channel.

Hannah Cassell
Hannah has worked in film and television for over 8 years and her creativity and attention to detail ensure maximum impact is achieved from budgets of all sizes, making her a valued asset to any production.
A key Producer in the Pretzel team, Hannah has successfully steered numerous projects through the production process, working closely with clients and directors from idea conception right the way through to delivery.

Flic Craddock
Having endured 8 months in an African hut, gained an MA in Ancient History and spent just over a year in digital marketing agency Work Club's strategy department, Flic comes fully prepared for life as Pretzel's newest Production Assistant. Or at least she thinks she does...

Sarah Riddell
With a background in independent and live television, Sarah also has a talent for writing and enjoys collaborating on film treatments and pitches.
With an excellent rapport with all clients and crew, Sarah looks forward to contributing to any creative project. She works well under pressure and is key in delivering work on time and within budget to Pretzel's high expectations.

Paul Butterworth
Professionally, Paul's unique background blends a range of roles and productions: Production Manager on More4's on air launch, Assistant Production Manager on Casino Royale, 2nd Assistant Director (and Acting 1st) on second Unit of City Of Ember, Producer for Channel 4's Hand Gun's season promo and PM for their logo idents, PM for Antenna's (Top 3 Greek TV channel) rebrand, etc. And pn the agency side he's also managed to squeeze in stints with Fallon London and Work Club.
Personally, Paul: enjoys cooking but isn't very good; likes garlic bread and Licorice Allsorts (separately); thinks the iPhone is great in theory, but a let down in reality; is referred to by friends (and others) as Butterballs; has 'Hercules Hipkiss' as his porn star name and has no broken bones whatsoever, but has hit his coxis quite hard many times...

Guy comes from a TV background where he worked for the likes of Talkback Thames, Pozzitive Television and Kudos. Bringing fun, enthusiasm and commitment to every project he works on, you can be sure of a smooth running production every time.

Susanne Ryan
Susanne is Pretzel's Producer in New York. A hugely experienced feature film producer, Pretzel are privileged to have Susanne on our New York team.
Director/Editor
James Lawes
Since joining Pretzel in 2006 James has become a multi award winning Director / Editor. His first solo project won Bronze for Best Charity film at the IVCA awards in 2007 and he came back in 2008 to claim Gold.
His background in independent short films has allowed him to bring a unique and often cinematic style to his work.
James has worked on a range of projects for clients that include Natural England, GAP, TOPSHOP, ITV, Network Rail,Tesco Fashion, Sainsbury's and the Ministry of Defence. With every project, James always brings fresh ideas and an original style in both his directing work as well as projects he cuts for for freelance directors working for Pretzel.

Jake Dypka
Jake is a relatively new member to the Pretzel team and since arriving has proved himself on an array of successful projects for a number of our major clients; Network Rail, Topshop, ITV, SunGard, Sainsbury's and Tesco's to mention just a few.
He has a strong background in camera work which allows him a broader outlook on production when directing and editing and this can be seen throughout his work.

Jesse Parker
Not only do we love Jesse for his hair, but his skills in the art of post production mean he's a valued member of the Pretzel team. With a prized background in feature films and serial drama, Jesse now manages Pretzel's post-production department; editing our in-house creations and overseeing deliverables.
When he gets the chance he also has a habit of making guest appearances, his most recent stint being on student tv. We don't think he has his own fan base, but give it some time...

Louise has over fifteen years of experience in approaching and gaining work from media companies including advertising agencies and event companies.

Amos Usiskin
As Development Producer at Pretzel, Amos has worked with every member of the Pretzel team for clients as varied as London Olympics 2012, the MoD, and Ernst & Young. His background as a researcher is invaluable when it comes to finding the right story to best convey a client's message.

Office Manager
Mark Pettitt
With a background in acting, dance and musical theatre, Mark has performed in major West-End shows, television and film, and has danced his way around the world with Princess Cruises from Lands End to Antarctica, while also working as a freelance teacher and choreographer in the realms of Northern Canada!
However, all that traveling has worn out his shoes, so he's returned to the UK (after being head-hunted by Pretzel) and is enjoying a slight change of pace, as he looks after everyone in the office....

Andrea Boden
After a brief stint in live TV production for Channel 4 and a 1st class Arts degree, Andrea joined Pretzel to facilitate the smooth running of the production office earlier this year. Utilizing her love of words and banter, Andrea now gleefully works for the Marketing department in a PR/Copywriting capacity. If you want something written - she's your girl.
