The clients brief was simple. Dislodge the preconception that a veteran is a pensioner living in Chelsea, an old man who fought in World War II. The newly promoted 'Veterans Day' needed to gain traction with local councils and charities and for this to gain momentum it was crucial to dispel this myth. Pretzel created a documentary which showcased a range of Armed Forces Personnel who were no longer in service but who had become important members of the community since leaving. All had drawn on their personal experiences in the forces to help them succeed.
